  • Learn how to conduct an online survey using Google Forms
  • Provide an understanding of various social media platforms
  • Demonstrate how to create and manage advertising on Facebook and Instagram
  • Explain how to build a digital marketing plan


Who is it for?

This course is for individuals who want to understand the role and potential of digital marketing in today’s organisations. It is particularly suited for junior marketers, recent marketing graduates, individuals whose role involves marketing, start-up owners and those who want to tap into digital marketing.


Why should I attend?

Participants will gain a clear understanding of the vital role digital marketing plays in today’s organisations and how this can be utilised to the benefit of organisations. With more than half of the Maltese population being internet users, digital marketing is an essential tool that organisations need to take advantage of to put their product or service out there.

Participants will learn how to reach their target audience by selecting and utilising the most adequate digital tools such as, email marketing, social media and search engine marketing. Online surveys will also be covered, via a hands-on approach, as a cost-effective data collection tool which enables organisations to learn more on their target audience and/or consumers. Facebook is the most utilised social media locally hence, a special emphasis will be placed on Facebook advertising, with hands-on exercises, on how to create, manage and monitor Facebook adverts.

Throughout this course various best-practice examples from different fields will be highlighted and discussed. Ultimately, this course will enable participants to understand the best way to utilise digital marketing and how this can be amalgamated with traditional marketing..


Trainer Bio

Aida Cassola has been working in Marketing for the past 8 years, gaining experience in both the B2B and B2C sectors through the ICT and Retail industry. She is currently the Marketing and Visual Executive at United Department Stores Ltd, where she handles both the traditional and digital marketing for Debenhams, Oasis and M.A.C Cosmetics locally.

She graduated from the University of Malta with a Master in Creativity & Innovation, with a focus on innovative advertising, as well as an Honours degree in Philosophy. She recently also completed a Diploma in Teaching Adults and another Diploma in Professional Marketing by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
