Description
Manzoni is part of the People & Co/People learning tuition Centre, it is an evolving fashion school focusing on courses with a passion for positively developing our students and promoting an environmental consciousness. We guide our students by processing their creative ideas and enthusiasm for making clothes. We cater for students who wish to create clothes in women’s wear, men’s wear, children’s wear and accessories specialising in customised pattern making and sample garment making lessons as well as online group lectures.
This is mainly a workshop based class of 3 hours each. Our classes are hands on, we give individual attention to each and every student. We focus on nurturing the talent and develop it the best way possible. Our classes include designing the ideas, doing the patterns and sewing the samples, researching textiles and developing inspiration.
The course is divided into 3 main areas:

How is fabric made? What makes textiles sustainable? Is fair trade applied to all the workers involved in textile and garment production? What is the impact of fast fashion?
