Designing For Fashion

What is it About? 

This course is based on drawing poses and fashion drawing which is the first process of fashion designing, from idea stage to drawing stage . The learner will have the opportunity to learn to draw poses wearing different garments. Will be exposed to different ways of drawing denim, silk, viscose, wool etc. 

Who is it for?

From 16 years upwards all those who love to draw fashion poses or improve what they know already. Individuals who sew or make patterns and want to learn how to design. 

Learning Outcomes

This course will help develop your drawing skills, by creating the fashion ideas you have in mind, drawing them accurately so that anyone can understand how the pattern is done and what type of material is needed to complete the sample

The learner will be exposed to the following:

• Drawing of poses- Learning the proportions of the human figure
• Learning how to draw the face, eyes, nose and lips.
• hands and feet
• different hairstyles
• colouring poses
• rendering of different fabrics, colouring effects 
• drawing different clothes,
• Shoes
• Adapting the design on a computerized drawing app. 

International Students need to apply for a student visa.

We can adjust the hours to full time hours. 16 hours per week. This course can be done in 3 weeks.
