Maria is a founding Partner and Director of People&Co and People Consulting Ltd which she founded with husband David in 1995. She has been instrumental in the development and progression of the recruitment side of the business both when operating as REED Specialist recruitment in the early days and since transition to People&Co in 2014, specialising in legal, Marketing, HR and Administration roles both permanent and temporary positions but also contributes on director level for all aspects of the company. Maria is an accomplished Fashion Designer by trade and still lectures on fashion for University of Malta as well as delivering MQF Level 4 Introduction to Fashion Design course for People Consulting Ltd.
Maria is a very active person who balances her work and personal life to great effect considering the varied roles and responsibilities she has as not only a working mum but as a highly acclaimed lecturer. Maria is also a very philanthropic person spending what little spare time she does have working for and assisting in many charitable organisations here in Malta.
