There are many different paths why one becomes a company director, those who start a company in their 20’s and evolve into managing directors, some climb the ladder in big organizations, others are appointed to represent a company in another country ,those who inherit a company and the one’s who are appointed and don’t know that they are. It doesn’t matter how one gets there what is important that one is aware of the Obligations and Responsibilities. Acting as a director of a Maltese company and the ensuing of obligations are very challenging. This is why we recommend an 8-hour programme, spread over two sessions, focusing on the obligations of directors of Maltese companies. The main aim of the course is to provide a good understanding of the legal principles relevant to directors and a practical context to each of them.
